2026 Olympics: Live updates for Canada-Finland, USA-Slovakia


Only four matches remain in the men’s hockey tournament at the 2026 Olympic Games.

This Friday, the two semifinal contests will decide which nations will compete for the gold medal and which will vie for bronze:

  • No. 1 Canada vs. No. 4 Finland, 10:40 a.m. ET

  • No. 2 USA vs. No. 3 Slovakia, 3:10 p.m. ET

The bronze medal match is set for Saturday at 2:40 p.m. ET, while the gold medal showdown will take place Sunday at 8:10 a.m. ET.

Each of the 32 NHL teams has at least one player represented among the final four clubs. Team USA features the most players, with 18 from various teams, while Finland boasts the highest number from a single franchise, with four players from the Dallas Stars.
