Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who first rose to fame as the star of MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” shared that she received a cervical cancer diagnosis.
“My results came back for my cone biopsy, and it came back stage 1 cervical cancer called adenocarcinoma,” the reality star said in a nearly eight-minute long video posted to her TikTok account on Friday. “Obviously not the news that I was hoping for, but also not the worst news just because they caught it so early. Thank freaking God!”
In the video, Polizzi shared that she had been at a post-op appointment for a cone biopsy (a surgical procedure that removes tissue from the cervix to test for early-stage cervical cancer or precancerous cells) she’d had done earlier.
She noted that she’d been “struggling with abnormal pap smears for three or four years now.” Earlier this year, Polizzi had shared on TikTok that her doctor had “found cancerous cells on the top of my cervix” following a colposcopy and biopsy.
“That’s why I’m literally telling you guys to get your pap smears done. I’m 38 years old… and now look at me,” she said. “And instead of just putting it off because I didn’t want to go and it hurt and I was scared, no, I just went and did it. And it was there, cancer is in there. But it’s only stage 1 and it’s curable.”
“So get your appointments done, bitches! I’m telling you,” she continued, noting that she’d likely need a hysterectomy and possible removal of her lymph nodes. “2026 is not panning out how I wanted it to, but also [it] could be worse.”
