Bluey has finally made her debut at Disneyland.
In a sneak preview, “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” live show debuted at Disneyland’s Fantasyland Theatre in Anaheim on Saturday morning.
The area around Fantasyland has been transformed into the playground at Bluey’s school. The theater features a newly designed entryway with nods to the “Stumpfest” episode. The bottom half of the archway has been “painted” by Bingo and Bluey.
Starting on Sunday, two rotating “Bluey” shows will be performed at the theater. It show features Bluey and her sister Bingo who are joined by performers and a five-piece band featuring drums, guitar, trumpet, saxophone and trombone. Other beloved “Bluey” characters including Unicorse, Chattermax, Grouchy Granny and fellow Grannies all appear. At one point, Bluey and Bingo’s invisible friend, Tina “appears” in the show.
Unlike previous shows, “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” encourages audience participation, where children of all ages are invited to interact with the beloved characters and sing and dance along. While there are currently no meet and greet opportunities, Bluey and Bingo get up close with the kids during the show.
The show’s music producer, Chelsea Stevens said, “The energy our musicians bring to ‘Bluey’s Best Day Ever!’ is truly incredible! Music is such a vital part of every ‘Bluey’ episode, and I’m thrilled for our guests to hear it for real life with a five-piece band leading new musical arrangements of the iconic ‘Bluey’ soundtrack.”
Among the show moments are a cavalcade with larger-than-life inflatables of Bluey’s friends – Jack, MacKenzie, Indy, Honey, and Rusty.
Jennifer Magill, executive producer, Disney Live Entertainment explained, “We drew inspiration from so many iconic ‘Bluey’ moments and themes, and we wanted to pack as many details as we could into this experience. By transforming Fantasyland Theatre into an immersive space full of activities, we found ways to highlight memorable moments that all ages and everyone in the family will enjoy.”

Susana Tubert, Creative Director, Disney Live Entertainment said, “With ‘Bluey’s Best Day Ever!’, we’ve challenged ourselves as storytellers and artists to create something wholly unique that our guests will remember for years to come. For more than 70 years, bringing treasured tales to life has been at the heart of what we do at Disneyland Resort and with Bluey and her sister Bingo, we are transforming their animated world — one that has brought families so close together — into a real life, tangible experience that everyone can enjoy.”
Trevor Rush, Manager, Costume Design and Development, Disney Live Entertainment, said, “With a playful nod to the humor of the animated series ‘Bluey,’ the performers’ costumes are based on the charming personalities of Bluey’s family, friends, and classmates across her vibrant world.”
Aside from the show, there are plenty of Bluey themed food options to try out, including an asparagus pretzel made from white chocolate; a Pizza Girls baked potato – think pepperoni pizza potato, and a mud cake cold brew coffee with malted milk topper, fudge brownie bits and sprinkles. All are available at the Troubadour Tavern located next to the theater.

As previously announced, “Bluey’s Big Play – The Stage Show” and 10 new minisodes of “Bluey” are headed to Disney+.
