LOS ANGELES — Samson Nacua, brother of Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua, will not face charges after being arrested last month for allegedly taking a car without the owner’s consent, ABC7 in Los Angeles reported Thursday.
Samson Nacua and another individual, Trey Rose, were apprehended by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in December for allegedly stealing a vehicle belonging to Lakers forward Adou Thiero.
but, officials from the LASD’s West Hollywood Station informed ABC7 that Samson Nacua mistook the car for one belonging to Puka; the two vehicles are similar in model and color.
because of this, Thiero opted not to pursue charges, ABC7 reported.
Samson Nacua played college football at both Utah and BYU. On Wednesday, he was picked by the UFL’s Birmingham Stallions. In April, he faced a one-game suspension in the UFL after an incident involving a fan while with the Michigan Panthers.
