Aaron Gordon, forward for the Denver Nuggets, will undergo reevaluation in four to six weeks due to a right hamstring strain, as reported by the team on Thursday.
Gordon re-injured his prior hamstring issue from late November during the latter part of Friday’s nail-biting 102-100 victory against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Following the game, Denver’s coach David Adelman mentioned that Gordon felt hopeful his current hamstring issue wasn’t as severe as the earlier injury this season, which had sidelined him for over a month, but indicated that further tests were necessary.
This injury adds to the list of setbacks for the already injury-hit Nuggets team, which has been missing several players, including Nikola Jokic, due to various health concerns.
Gordon is currently averaging a career-high 17.7 points across 23 games this season.
