Sources: Trail Blazers acquire Krejci from Hawks for Reath, picks

The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to trade guard Vit Krejci to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Duop Reath and two future second-round draft picks, sources informed ESPN on Sunday.

The Trail Blazers will send a 2027 second-round pick from Atlanta back to the Hawks, along with a 2030 second-round pick via the New York Knicks, as reported by sources.

Krejci is averaging nine points and 2.2 three-pointers per game with a shooting percentage of 42.3%, placing him among the top 20 in the NBA. His presence adds much-needed floor spacing to a Trail Blazers squad vying for a spot in the play-in tournament this season.

Krejci, who has spent four out of his five NBA seasons with Atlanta, is also hitting 44.6% of his catch-and-shoot three-pointers this season, ranking 16th among 179 qualifying players in the league (minimum 100 attempts), according to GeniusIQ.

Krejci has two years remaining on his contract after this season but will be eligible for an extension in the offseason.

Reath underwent surgery on his foot to end his season on Thursday.
