College softball rankings: 2026 NCAA Week 2 Top 25 poll

A new No. 1 has emerged! Following Texas Tech’s first loss of the season to Nebraska at the Clearwater Invitational, a slot opened up for a new leader in the rankings. Undefeated Tennessee seized the opportunity and took the top spot. The Lady Vols are now one of only four teams left undefeated in this week’s poll, which retains the same 25 teams as last week.

Here’s the full ranking for this week.

Player to watch

Megan Grant, UCLA

although a shaky beginning for the Bruins, they boast one of the most intriguing players in the nation. This utility player spent her winter competing with UCLA’s No. 2-ranked basketball team. Now, with the softball season in full swing, the senior is back on the field, aiming for a professional career. She’s currently hitting .522 and has launched 9 home runs.
