Disney’s “Hoppers” debuted at No. 1 at the U.K. and Ireland box office with £4.7 million ($6.3 million), according to Comscore.
Paramount’s “Scream 7” moved to second place in its second weekend, adding $1.5 million for a cumulative $8.2 million. Warner Bros.’ “Wuthering Heights” continued its strong run in third, grossing £$2.5 million in its fourth frame and lifting its total to $30.8 million.
Warner Bros. scored another new entry with “The Bride!” opening in fourth place with $952,000. Close behind, Entertainment Film Distributors’ comedy “Mother’s Pride” debuted at No. 5 with $943,000.
“GOAT,” distributed by Sony, ranked sixth in its fourth weekend with $554,000, pushing its cumulative total to $16.5 million. Universal’s music event title “EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert” followed in seventh place with $447,000, bringing its total to $3.8 million.
Further down the chart, “Crime 101,” distributed by Sony, took eighth place with $258,000 for a cumulative $5.5 million. Trafalgar Releasing’s event cinema titles rounded out the top 10: “Giselle – ROH, London 2026 (Ballet)” placed ninth with $160,000 for a $707,000 total, while “Othello (Theatre)” was in 10th with $156,000 and a cumulative $453,000.
Looking ahead, the mid-March slate is anchored by Universal’s wide release “Reminders of Him,” directed by Vanessa Caswill and starring Maika Monroe, Tyriq Withers and Rudy Pankow, which rolls out across more than 300 locations.
Sony adds anime title “Scarlet,” while Trinity Filmed Entertainment fields the Hong Kong action sequel “Back to the Past Plus +,” starring Louis Koo, Raymond Lam and Jessica Hsuan. Japanese literary adaptation “A Pale View of Hills,” directed by Kei Ishikawa and starring Suzu Hirose and Fumi Nikaido, launches across around 100 sites via Vue Lumière.
The specialty sector features a mix of European and U.K. titles, including Curzon’s Cannes-debuting “The Love That Remains,” MetFilm Distribution’s wartime drama “The Tasters,” and Vertigo Releasing’s thriller “One Last Deal,” starring Danny Dyer. Conic also releases documentary “Everybody to Kenmure Street,” chronicling the high-profile Glasgow immigration protest.
Repertory and event cinema continue to feature prominently. Seventh Art Distribution presents the exhibition documentary “Exhibition on Screen: Turner & Constable 2026,” while Park Circus brings David Lynch’s “The Straight Story” back to cinemas in a 4K restoration and Munro Film Services reissues historical epic “Zulu Dawn.” The week is rounded out by regional and independent titles including Dreamz Entertainment’s Telugu-language comedy “Band Melam” and Bi Gan’s acclaimed Cannes winner “Resurrection,” distributed by Trinity.
