The NAACP is bringing its Image Awards to the widest audience yet — and cord-cutters have plenty of ways to tune in.
The 57th NAACP Image Awards air live on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026 at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT, with the main telecast broadcasting on BET. The show is also simulcast on CBS (along with other Paramount-owned outlets), meaning the entire event will stream live on Paramount+.
The other best option for viewers streaming live online without cable, the cleanest route is a live TV streaming bundle that carries BET and/or your local CBS station, including services such as DirecTV, currently offering a free trial), Hulu + Live TV and Fubo TV. One of the most affordable platforms is Sling TV, whose $5 day-passes are a great option for streaming one-time events without the monthly comittment.
Deon Cole returns as host, with this year’s ceremony set to spotlight major honorees across dozens of categories. Leading the nominations are “Sinners,” with 18 nods, and “Bel-Air,” with seven nods. The nominees for Entertainer of the Year, the show’s signature category, include Cynthia Erivo, Doechii, Kendrick Lamar, Michael B. Jordan and Teyana Taylor.
As always, several awards will also be presented during the ceremony’s telecast. This year’s honorees include Colman Domingo who will be presented with the President’s Award during the telecast; Viola Davis, with the Chairman’s Award; A$AP Rocky, with the Vanguard Award for fashion, presented at the annual fashion show on Friday, Feb. 27; and Rev. Dr. Jamal-Harrison Bryant, with the prestigious Mildred Bond Roxborough Social Justice Impact Award at the Creative Honors on Thursday, Feb. 26.
