Inter Miami has received an invitation to visit the White House to commemorate the team’s triumph in the 2025 Major League Soccer Cup, according to a club source’s confirmation to ESPN.
The team is anticipated to attend the reception next week during its trip to Washington, where they will be facing D.C. United, although details are still in the works.
Attending the White House follows a long-standing tradition in American sports, where teams celebrate their league championships.
D.C. United was the inaugural MLS team to be honored at the White House in 1998 after their Cup victory, while the LA Galaxy made several visits after winning in 2011, 2012, and 2014.
David Beckham, co-owner of Inter Miami, visited the White House in 2012 with the Galaxy to celebrate their league victory.

The Herons secured the 2025 MLS Cup on December 6, defeating the Vancouver Whitecaps with a score of 3-1 at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, marking the franchise’s first league championship.
While the team has previously claimed the Supporters’ Shield and Leagues Cup, the MLS Cup remained a sought-after achievement until they obtained the title last season.
