“Fractured,” a new psychological thriller, is adding some key genre names to its cast.
Jon Abrahams (“Meet the Parents,” “House of Wax”), Felissa Rose (“Sleepaway Camp,” “Terrifier 2”) and Lew Temple (“The Devil’s Rejects,” “The Walking Dead”) will star in “Fractured.” The film is directed by Sage O’Bryant and written by Eric Swinderman, and is set to begin filming this spring in Ohio.
Per the official synopsis, “Abrahams stars as Arthur Thorne, a tightly wound man battling crippling anxiety and a traumatic past. When his therapist, Dr. Sharma (Rose), begins revealing an unsettling knowledge of his deepest fears, Arthur starts to suspect his reality is being manipulated. As pressure mounts from his domineering boss, Pendergast (Temple), Arthur uncovers evidence that his unraveling mind may be part of a calculated experiment, driving him toward a desperate and violent confrontation.”
O’Bryant and Eric Swinderman previously collaborated together on the anthology film “Made in Cleveland” and the dark comedy feature “The Enormity of Life.”
Emelia Sherin co-stars and serves as a producer on the film. Swinderman, Sherin and O’Bryant are producing via their Anhedonia Pictures shingle. Abrahams, Matthew James and Shera Piper will serve as executive producers.
Abrahams is repped by Steven Siebert of Lighthouse Entertainment. Outside of the first “Scary Movie,” he is appearing in the new “Scary Movie” sequel, set to hit theaters later this year. He also had a role in this year’s MCU series “Wonder Man.” Previously, he has appeared in horror movies, including 2024’s “Terrifier 3” and 2015’s “Condemned.”
