The 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend is here, with celebrations taking place all over Los Angeles.
The top players in the league will unite for an unprecedented seventh NBA All-Star Game this Sunday at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. This year’s event celebrates the 75th edition of the All-Star Game and promises to be truly unique.
This will be the first return of the event-filled weekend to the L.A. area since 2018.
Two teams of U.S. players will compete against one World team in a round-robin format featuring four 12-minute games. Each team consists of at least eight players. In Game 1, Team A will take on Team B, with the winning team advancing to face Team C. The team that loses Game 1 will then play against Team C in the next matchup. in the end, the teams with the two best records will clash in the championship game.
All-Star Weekend kicks off on Friday with the celebrity game at the Kia Forum in Inglewood. Following this, the Rising Stars game will take place at Intuit Dome, concluding with the HBCU Classic between the men’s basketball teams of Hampton and North Carolina A&T at Kia.
Saturday night will feature the 3-point and slam dunk contests, alongside the return of the Shooting Stars competition, which includes four NBA legends: Richard Hamilton, Allan Houston, Corey Maggette, and Ron Harper Sr.
