MILAN — The stars of the popular hockey romance TV show “Heated Rivalry” are preparing to serve as torchbearers for the Olympic flame leading up to the Opening Ceremony of the Milan Cortina Games.
The organizing committee revealed on Thursday that Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie will participate in the torch relay, with the Opening Ceremony set for Feb. 6.
This series, inspired by the “Game Changers” novels, has captivated audiences with its tale of a Canadian athlete and his Russian rival who share a secret relationship spanning a decade.
The debut season ranked as the top series on HBO Max. Initially created for the Canadian platform Crave, the show landed a distribution agreement with HBO and has been confirmed for a second season, set to air in Italy next month.
