RENEWALS

Nebula’s competition series “Abolish Everything” has been renewed for a third season.

Hosted by Chandler Dean, the series helmed by the “Jet Lag: The Game” team follows a group of comedian-abolitionists who roast a pet peeve they desperately want banned from society. A panel named “The Political Establishment” then improvises counter-arguments and the audience crowns a winner of each episode; the winners ultimately go head-to-head in the World Championship finale.

“I’m so excited for season three!” showrunner and director Amy Muller said in a statement. “We’re gonna bring back some familiar faces, introduce you to some new faves, try out a new themed episode I’m very excited about, and most of all, continue our glorious mission of destroying everything that has ever existed. The fight continues.”

The show has featured comedians, writers and creators like Demi Adejuyigbe, Adam Chase, Ben Doyle, Lily Du, Martin Herlihy, Matthew Krol, Alise Morales, Gianmarco Soresi, Dan Toomey, Patrick Willems and Sabrina Wu. Dean executive produces in addition to hosting, while Dave Wiskus (Nebula’s founder) and Sam Denby (Nebula’s CCO) also executive produce.

The first two seasons are currently streaming on Nebula.

SPECIALS

Picky eaters are getting pushed out of their comfort zone in the aptly named new series “Picky Eaters,” which debuted on TikTok and Instagram this Tuesday.

Each episode centers on a picky eater introducing their least favorite ingredient and challenging chefs to create a dish they would enjoy. If neither meal is found to be appetizing, the winner is simply determined by what the picky eater finds least repulsive.

The series is hosted by Mehreen “Reenie” Karim from “Next Level Chef,” and the first episode features special guest Jaeki Cho, the founder of the social media series “Righteous Eats.”

“Picky Eaters” marks the first collaboration under the partnership between Mad Realities and Fox Creator Studios.

“Our goal is to platform and highlight a burgeoning, dynamic food scene in New York full of rising stars and direct-to-consumer audiences — like in the “Cherry Bombe” and “Righteous Eats” communities — that may not be getting platformed on typical network television,” said Alice Ma, the CEO and co-founder of Mad Realities.
